Due to the plan of Google and Mozilla to distrust Symantec SSL Certificates in the future, which were given out in the past, I have changed the Certificate Authority (CA) which I use for this website. In the past I used Thawte SSL which is owned by Symantec. But now I have revoked that certificate and have switched to GlobalSign. By looking for a new Certificate I also looked for a new Certificate Shop and I found SSLplus. The shop is nice and easy to handle and it is a German Company. The only thing I did not change is the fact that I use a wildcard certificate for this website. This gives me every possibility to add subdomains as many as I want.
Today I added an archive site to this website. Allthough many of the blog posts in the archive are out of date, I would like to make them publicly available also after they are kicked from the frontpage. I hope you and also many of the search engines will admire this effort.
Wish you all a good Advent Season!
